The French Riviera is at the far South-East of France on the border with Italy and part of the Alpes-Maritimes department, including the Principality of Monaco. With an international airport, the French Riviera is just over an hour from Paris and two hours from London. It is a land of contrasts with two faces: “the sea and the mountains”. The French Riviera, with its 120 km of coastline and 40km of sandy and pebbly beaches, offers a plethora of treasures to be discovered. The mountains are majestic, more than 3000 metres high and with one of the seven French national parks, the Parc du Mercantour. Its exceptional climate sees more than 300 sunny days a year.
