Two resounding hotels on the Cote d’Azur: the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc and the Château Saint-Martin & Spa
One is mythical, welcoming the great names of cinema and show business. The other is secular and overlooks the unwitting capers of the coastline from its perch.
Between sea and small mountains, Antibes and Vence, the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc and the Château Saint-Martin & Spa cultivate true fraternity within a family - the Oetker Hotel Collection – which has greatly invested in the operation of these establishments.
The Conductor of this new synergy, Philippe Perd, marries the prestige of the Riviera with the authenticity of the inner land. A new resonance that is echoed by a loyal clientele, who savour alternation between these two types of holiday.
The latest news in the hotel business is that the former temple-like commander’s residence stationed on the hills of Vence is to unveil five new suites, three restaurants which the gourmet restaurant "Le Saint-Martin" crowned by one Michelin Star and recommended for a second star and a spa under the La Prairie label.
Two sommeliers for a “Great” cellar.
Apart from their passion for wine, Jean-Christophe Rault, Chef Sommelier of the Château Saint-Martin & Spa, and Xavier Dinet, Chef Sommelier of the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc have a beautiful history together. They grew up together in the Val de Loire, and then followed different paths until life brought them face to face at the helm of their two respective cellars. They manage their stocks together and will thus be able to offer a discerning clientele the best millésimes of the forty past years!
